I got a Kani salad and it was one of my favorite. The service was quick and easy and it was very nice inside probably my top three sushi places in the area!

Asahi has the best sushi and sashimi around! It is also our go to place for sushi platters for celebrations at home! The staff are friendly and helpful.

I think the best thing about this place is that it's mostly packed, and you get this neighborhood vibe with their typical customers being families with kids and groups of students from the local high-school. Their sushi is good, I'm by no means a sushi expert, but I visited this restaurant multiple times and never had an issue with the freshness of their sushi. The only thing that takes some time to get used to is the ordering process with marking everything on a piece of paper.

Pretty solid AYCE sushi spot. Price is lower than most other AYCE spots and they allow you to get sashimi, which is very rare. The sushi quality is decent for AYCE standards. Their hot food menu is slightly limited, but they had some unique options on there that were pretty good. As the case with most AYCE sushi joints, they will mess up your order and not bring out everything you asked for, but that's par for the course at AYCE sushi spots. The one negative about this place is that it could be much cleaner. The floor was pretty dirty and had spills everywhere. Also, if you get seated in the elevated tables, it's uncomfortable since getting in and out is a task. It was also raining that day, so people were bringing rain onto the seating areas. Overall, a good spot for AYCE sushi.

This is a BYOB all you can eat (order off AYCE menu) restaurant. I ate here with minimal expectations so I wouldn't be disappointed. For what it is, the value is there, so I give 5 stars. I had fun with the AYCE menus. Both sushi side and kitchen items were good...but some I wouldn't order a second time. You try and learn what you like. Sushi was fresh. Rolls are very filling so order those with caution. I did notice that my second round of ordering had sashimi pieces cut to half the size of round 1. If that's an intentional tactic, doesn't matter really. You can just order more... Which is what I did. Several kitchen items were enjoyable, with my favorite being the edamame special. Smoky, spiced, tasty, really great! The chicken wings were good too and it's kind of fun that you can order 1 wing, just to try it. Overall, for $30, it's fantastic. A single sushi takeout order would amount to just below that and you wouldn't have nearly the variety or amount you can get here. Quality was really good. Service was ok. We had to ask twice every time our sake was being refilled and heated. The waitress would just forget about it. Some servers were very attentive though. This place fills up and by 6:30, you'll be waiting for a table... For an unknown period. I recommend going between 5-6. We'll return for sure.
